Bi Feiyu 毕飞宇
Author of a number of novels and short stories. Most well known for his novels Massage 《推拿》 (filmed by director Lou Ye as Blind Massage in 2014), Three Sisters 《玉米, 玉秀, 玉秧》 and The Moon Opera 《青衣》. Bi Feiyu also wrote the script for Zhang Yimou’s movie Shanghai Triad.

Gunnar Ardelius
Gunnar Ardelius is President of the Swedish Writers’ Union. His novels focus on relations between parents and children, and on the need for young people to find their way in life. His novel I Need You More Than I Love You and I Love You To Bits has been translated into several languages.

Dong Xi 东西
Journalist, editor and writer. Some of his most well-known novels are A Distorted Life 《篡改的命》 and Records of Regret 《后悔录》.

Kajsa Gordan
Swedish writer of books for children in a variety of genres ranging from detective stories to picture books. Her series about the dog Kjelle has been translated into Chinese.

Ge Fe 格非
Known as one of the more experimental young writers of fiction during the late 1980s and early 1990s. Ge Fei is also professor of Chinese literature at Tsinghua University and has an interest in European film and Ingmar Bergman. His latest novel in English translation is The Invisibility Cloak 《隐身衣》.

Ulrika Kärnborg
Journalist, literary critic and novelist. Has written several works of fiction and non-fiction, as well as drama. Her latest novel, The Sign of Saturn, is an historical tale centered on Axel Oxenstierna, one of the most powerful men of the 17th century and a politician who reformed the Swedish political system.

Yang Hongying 杨红樱
One of China’s most read authors of childrens’ books, with several dozens of published novels and millions of readers. Her series Mo’s Mischief (published in English by Harper Collins) 《淘气包马小跳》 has sold more than 30 million copies since it was first published in 2003.

Göran Sommardal
Writer, translator and literary critic. He has written a doctoral thesis on classical Chinese poetics, The Empty Palace, and has published books and essays on Chinese literature and culture. He has also published poetry and a satirical novel. He has translated Chinese writers such as Lu Xun, Ba Jin, Yin Jianling and Qiao.
